Cinnamon Bay
This popular and easy-to-get-to beach is a must-visit. With nice facilities including restrooms and a restaurant, you could spend all day at this beach and have a great time. Note, areas of the beach are not sheltered from the wind, so you might get caught in blowing sand. Get there early and find a nice quiet spot.
Trunk Bay
This is perhaps the most famous, most photographed beach on St. Johns and maybe even in the Caribbean. With the turquoise waters and white sand, it is a great spot to visit on the island. If you rented a car, there is this perfect “money shot” lookout from the road that you must stop at and snap a few photos. It is unbelievably beautiful.
Maho Bay
Famous for great snorkeling, Maho Bay has the clearest water I had seen the entire time at St. Johns(and that is saying something!). I saw a sea turtle and two sharks while snorkeling in the warm, gentle water. This bay is way calmer than the other ones even with the boats moored out. There are some popup shops with the opportunity to rent snorkel or paddle board equipment.
