Elusive Botanical Bar by Dashfire | Restaurant Review

Inside the historic Thorp building in NE Minneapolis (right next to Tattersall Distilling) is the hidden and dare I say, elusive bar. Decorated in a mid-century modern style, this feels a little bit like what I imagine visiting a bar in the sixties and seventies may have looked like. Using their own liquors and bitters, Elusive Botanicals Bar creates interesting blends of flavors.

The owners created recipes inspired by their worldly travels such as the Spanish Gin & Tonic or the Ube Piña Colada. There isn’t a huge selection from a food menu standpoint, except for some locally-made hand pies which, honestly sounds delicious. It is definitely a place to start or end your night for that tasty cocktail. If you like what you taste, keep an eye out for the Dashfire canned cocktails, bitters, and liquors in a store near you.
